Born in San Diego, Naudia’s love of travel began when she moved to Hawaii at 18. She later lived in England, New Zealand and Italy.
She holds a bachelor’s in Journalism (Public Relations) from California State University, Long Beach, and a master’s in Promotional Media: Marketing, Advertising and PR from Goldsmiths, University of London. Three years on the brand side of influencer marketing shaped her storytelling and understanding of partners’ needs.
Born in Portugal and raised in France, Ivone speaks four languages and holds a bachelor’s in Communication from IUT du Havre, France.
She worked as a project manager and real estate agent before becoming a creator. Today, she uses those skills to plan campaigns, understand clients and bring places to life. Her curiosity has taken her backpacking across Asia and traveling Europe by campervan and motorcycle.
We’re Ivone and Naudia, the creators behind Unpredictable Travels. As LGBTQ+ luxury travel influencers and content creators, we make stories that invite people to imagine themselves in the places we explore.
We started creating together because we rarely saw LGBTQ+ couples represented in luxury travel. Naudia is Latina, and she knows how much it matters to see your culture and identity reflected in the experiences being celebrated. We want more people to feel that these beautiful places are for them, too.
From the moment we started traveling, our journeys rarely went exactly as planned, and we loved it that way. The unexpected turns, spontaneous detours and people we met along the way became the best parts of our stories. “Unpredictable Travels” felt like the perfect play on words because it describes who we are.
Naudia had already named her brand Unpredictable Travels before she met Ivone. Then she met someone who loved traveling just as unpredictably as she did. It really was a match made in heaven.
We met and fell in love in Bali. Travel brought us together, and it became part of how we built our life as a couple.
Today, we’re married and exploring the world together. We like staying long enough to get to know a place, finding our favorite little spots and making everyday memories alongside the bigger adventures.
But sharing our life means more to us than showing where we’ve been.
Growing up, we didn’t see couples like us represented in the travel stories around us. Two women in love, exploring the world and building a happy life together. We wanted to see that possibility.
Now, we share our story to help make it visible. Whether we’re exploring a destination, checking into a hotel or simply enjoying a quiet moment together, we want other LGBTQ+ people to see a little of themselves in us.
Our hope is simple: that someone watching feels less alone, more welcome and a little more confident about the life they can build.
